Prices for a bag of beans in selected markets in Lagos, Nigeria 2020

Mushin, Daleko, Oyingbo, and Mile 12 are some of Lagos' largest markets. Based on price comparisons among these markets in November 2020, the price for 50 kilograms of oloyin beans (sweet beans) was on average 20.5 thousand Naira (over 50 U.S. dollars). Oloyin beans, sometimes also called sweet, Nigerian, or honey beans, were the cheapest beans to be found on the markets in Lagos. The prices were provided by the Nigerian company Nairametrics.
