Cetacean acoustic presence by species: TEMPO 2021 Sonobuoys

This data product contains acoustic presence and absences of cetacean species derived from the acoustic recordings made from sonobuoys deployed during the TEMPO voyage. The information in this data product is a spreadsheet containing one row for each sonobuoy deployed, and one column for each type of vocalisation that was detected.

Acoustic data were converted into a spectrogram, and these were manually inspected (visually and aurally) by an expert familiar with many different types of commonly detected sounds from cetaceans. Presence and absence of all sounds of each type were given a single score for each sonobuoy.

Scores in each cell correspond to analyst's certainty of the presence of that species. Scores range from 0-4 indicating:
4: Analyst certain that call type was present
3: Analyst believed calls quite likely present (with reasonable certainty)
2: Analyst thought calls could possibly have been present (but some uncertainty)
1: Analyst thought calls may have been present (but not very certain)
0: Call type was not detected by analyst
blank: Analyst did not inspect for this call type

本数据产品包含基于TEMPO航次中部署的声呐浮标（sonobuoy）采集的声学录音衍生而来的鲸类物种声学存在与缺失数据集。该数据产品以电子表格形式存储，其中每一行对应一枚部署的声呐浮标，每一列对应一种被检测到的发声类型。
声学数据经转换为声谱图（spectrogram）后，由一名熟悉多种常见鲸类发声特征及典型检测声信号的专家开展人工目视与听觉检视。针对每枚声呐浮标，各类型发声的存在与缺失情况将被赋予单一评分，用于表征分析人员对该类发声存在的确信度。
各单元格内的评分对应分析人员对对应物种发声存在的确信度水平，评分区间为0至4，具体含义如下：
4：分析人员确定该发声类型存在；
3：分析人员认为该发声类型极有可能存在（确定性较高）；
2：分析人员认为该发声类型可能存在（存在一定不确定性）；
1：分析人员认为该发声类型或存在（确定性较低）；
0：分析人员未检测到该发声类型；
（空白）：分析人员未针对该发声类型开展检视。
