ddRAD-seq genotyping data for sporophytes of the brown alga Saccharina latissima

This projet involved genetic and genomic analysis of a collection of 233 Saccharina latissima sporophyte from self-fertilized gametophytes (pseudo-F1 populations). Each pseudo-F1 individual was generated by crossing (i.e. self-fertilising) a pool of gametophytes derived from a single F0 sporophyte parent collected from 13 sites across the European distribution of the species from Spain to Sweden. Genotype data was generated using the double digest restriction-site associated DNA (ddRAD-seq) method with the enzymes MseI and PstI.
