Rwenzori Mountains National Park Base Data

This dataset contains shapefiles with topographical data for Rwenzori Mountains National Park, in western Uganda. The dataset includes : Vegetation_1996, Subcounties, Roads, Rivers (major, seasonal and small), Park boundaries, Parishes, Landcover /use Stratification, Vegetation_LB ( by Langdale Brown) , International Boundaries, Enumeration areas, Districts, Counties, Contours, and Digital Elevation Model. The dataset was obtained from the Makerere University Institute of Environment and Natural Resources (MUIENR) , Kampala, and is held at the Uganda Wildlife Authority, on the Monitoring and Research Unit (MRU) Server.
