Tell Halaf - Figure with Sickle

Tell Halaf is an archaeological site in the Al Hasakah governorate of northeastern Syria, near the Turkish border, just opposite Ceylanpınar. It was the first find of a Neolithic culture, subsequently dubbed the Halaf culture, characterized by glazed pottery painted with geometric and animal designs.塔尔·哈莱夫（Tell Halaf）是叙利亚东北部哈塞克省（Al Hasakah）的一处考古遗址，毗邻土耳其边境，与土耳其杰伊兰珀纳尔（Ceylanpınar）隔境相对。该遗址是首个被发现的新石器时代文化遗存，后续该文化被正式命名为哈莱夫文化（Halaf culture），其典型特征为饰有几何纹样与动物图案的施釉陶器。
