Intraventricular ganglioglioma: A case report
收藏资源简介:
To report the diagnosis and treatment of a patient with gangliogliomas arising in the lateral ventricle. The patient went to the doctor because of “hypoesthesia of the right limb for more than 7 years, aggravated by January”. Physical examination showed that the sensation of the right limb, abdomen and chest was significantly weaker than that of the left. MRI of the head showed a cystic-solid mass in the left lateral ventricle. The solid components T1WI and T2WI showed a slightly lower signal, with obvious enhancement. Symptoms completely resolved after total surgical resection, and pathological diagnosis confirmed ganglioglioma. No recurrence was observed during a 3-month follow-up. Ganglioneuroma is a rare tumor of the central nervous system. Cases in the ventricle are very rare. This retrospective analysis aims to enhance understanding of this disease.
