Tasmanian Slope Trophodynamics Study 1991-1993: Physical Oceanographic Data

This record describes the physical oceanographic data collected as part of the 1991-1993 Tasmanian Slope Trophodynamics Study undertaken by CSIRO Division of Fisheries. CTD stations were occupied on 4 cruises of FRV "Southern Surveyor" on three 60 km transects across the continental shelf to the south and south-east of Tasmania. Temperature, salinity and density data were collected to approx. 1000 metres depth in July 1991 (cruise SS 02/91), February 1992 (cruise SS 01/92), November 1992 (cruise SS 04/92) and April 1993 (cruise SS 03/93). The processed data are held as part of the CSIRO Marine Research CTD data holdings. Contour plots and computed mixed layer depths derived from the data are given in the cited report (Figs 3-27).

本数据集记录了由澳大利亚联邦科学与工业研究组织（CSIRO）渔业部开展的1991-1993年塔斯马尼亚陆坡营养动力学研究所采集的物理海洋学数据。研究依托"南方考察号"（FRV "Southern Surveyor"）渔业研究船开展4次科考航次，在塔斯马尼亚南部及东南海域的3条60千米跨大陆架断面上布设温盐深（CTD，Conductivity Temperature Depth）观测站。各航次均采集了最大水深约1000米的温度、盐度与密度数据，具体航次时间为1991年7月（SS 02/91航次）、1992年2月（SS 01/92航次）、1992年11月（SS 04/92航次）及1993年4月（SS 03/93航次）。经标准化处理后的数据集已纳入CSIRO海洋研究部的CTD数据馆藏体系。相关引用报告（图3-27）中还刊载了由该数据集衍生得到的等值线图与混合层深度计算结果。
