Improving MODIS Gross Primary Productivity by Bridging Big-Leaf and Two-Leaf Light Use Efficiency Models

Dataset used for the analysis described in "Improving MODIS Gross Primary Productivity by Bridging Big-Leaf and Two-Leaf Light Use Efficiency Models" This data set contains CTL - MOD17 model production 2010 every eight days of spatial resolution of 0.05 ° of GPP correction (CTL_GPP) products, as well as MOD17A2HGPP from NASA's official website (https://ladsweb.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/), and MOD15A2H LAL products. The accuracy difference of MODIS GPP and CTL-GPP correction was compared on a global scale, the relationship between the source of uncertainty of MOD17 products and LAI was studied, and the advantages of two-leaf (TL) theory were analyzed from the correction perspective and the accuracy of MODIS GPP products was effectively solved. In addition, we also provide code for the CTL-MOD17 model used in the study.
本数据集用于支撑《通过整合大叶与两叶光能利用率模型改进MODIS总初级生产力》(Improving MODIS Gross Primary Productivity by Bridging Big-Leaf and Two-Leaf Light Use Efficiency Models)一文的分析研究。本数据集包含2010年每8天合成、空间分辨率为0.05°的CTL-MOD17模型总初级生产力修正产物(CTL_GPP),同时收录了来自美国国家航空航天局(NASA)官方网站(https://ladsweb.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/)的MOD17A2H GPP数据与MOD15A2H叶面积指数(Leaf Area Index, LAI)产品。本研究通过全球尺度对比MODIS GPP与CTL_GPP的精度差异,探究MOD17产品的不确定性来源与叶面积指数的关联关系,从修正视角分析两叶(TL)理论的优势,有效优化了MODIS GPP产品的精度表现。此外,本数据集还附带了本研究中使用的CTL-MOD17模型代码。
