Clostridium phytofermentans was continuously maintained in log-phase for 93 days in a GM3 automat with increasing concentrations of ferulic acid. The genomes of clones isolated from the GM3 were sequenced. Two clones were sequenced after the 1 g/L ferulate selection: CFY1A-B. Two clones were sequenced after the 2 g/L ferulate selection: CFY2C-D. Four clones were sequenced after the 3 g/L ferulate selection: CFY3E-H.
