Thórhallsdóttir,.The data describes seed and seedling counts, the substrate type they were recorded in, and seedling survival from 2018 to 2020 for a sampled population of a mountain birch (<i>Betula pubescens</i> ssp. <i>tortuosa</i>) on Skeiðarársandur glacial outwash plain in southeast Iceland.
