Trajectories from a drifter release in the Arctic Ocean Beaufort Sea, Fall 2016

The data was collected September 25 through November 24, 2016 during a field campaign in the Arctic Ocean Beaufort Sea. The dataset consists of drifters trajectories from 20 CARTHE drifters released in two phases (18 drifters first and 2 drifters later). The first release was done September 25th in a region of open waters while the second one, with only two drifters, was done 3 weeks later in a region close to the ice edge. The dataset contains ~30 days of high temporal and spatial resolution positions in time for both raw and filtered data.

本数据集采集于2016年9月25日至11月24日北冰洋博福特海的野外考察作业期间。数据集包含20台CARTHE漂流浮标的轨迹数据，浮标分两阶段投放：首批投放18台，后续投放2台。首批投放于9月25日在开阔水域区域开展，仅投放2台浮标的第二批投放则于3周后在靠近海冰边缘的区域完成。本数据集涵盖约30天的高时空分辨率时序位置数据，包含原始数据与滤波后数据两类。
