Clinical epidemiology and outcomes of community acquired infection and sepsis among hospitalized patients in a resource limited setting in Northeast Thailand: A prospective observational study (Ubon-Sepsis)

This is a part of prospective observational (non-interventional) study of community-acquired sepsis and severe sepsis in Sunpasithiprasong Hospital, Ubon Ratchathani province, northeast Thailand (NCT02217592). We prospectively enrolled adult patients (age≥18 years) who were admitted with a primary diagnosis of suspected or documented infection made by the attending physician, were within 24 hours of hospital admission, and had at least three sepsis diagnostic criteria documented in the medical record.<br><br>The manuscript reports clinical epidemiology and outcomes of patients presenting with sepsis in Northeast, Thailand. <br><br>The data comprises of demographic, clinical information and 28-day mortality of 4,989 patients at Sunpasitthiprasong Hospital, Ubon Ratchathani province, Thailand. There are two files, the data and the data descriptions.
