we aim to apply PanTools to perform comparative genomics and phylogenetic studies on F. asiaticum nuclear genomes collected from all over the world, especially isolates collected from southern China where F. asiaticum is widespread, forming the dominant species. Firstly, using population genetic methods we will investigate the diversity of genomes, gene flow, migration, the host adaptation and the evolutionary history of F. asiaticum, both between and within populations on a world scale. Subsequently, phenotypic and genotypic data will be combined to identify the pivotal candidate genes related to diverse selection pressures, such as hosts and environment, and then clarify their functionality. Finally, we aim to reveal the adaptive evolutionary mechanisms of various F. asiaticum populations.
