The analysis of expression quantitative trait loci (eQTL) can vary significantly depending on the context in which it is conducted. Different biological conditions can lead to distinct eQTL patterns. For instance, eQTLs identified in one tissue may not be applicable to another, highlighting the importance of context in genetic regulation of gene expression. In this study, we performed eQTL analysis for individuals under different contexts, for example, schizophrenia-affected individuals. The genotype and expression data in this study were obtained from BrainSeq project Phase 1. In this version, we added the eQTL results based on African American (AA) and Caucasian populations separately, and added the boxplot to display the patterns of eQTLs for centain genes across different populations, which may be similar or different.

表达数量性状位点(expression quantitative trait loci, eQTL)的分析结果会因研究场景的差异而呈现显著变化,不同生物学状态可催生截然不同的eQTL调控模式。例如,在某一组织中鉴定得到的eQTL未必适用于另一组织,这凸显了基因表达遗传调控的场景依赖性。本研究针对不同场景下的个体开展了eQTL分析,其中涵盖精神分裂症患者群体。本研究所用的基因型与基因表达数据均来源于BrainSeq项目第一阶段。在本次版本中,我们新增了分别针对非裔美国人(African American, AA)与高加索人群体的eQTL分析结果,并补充了箱线图,用于展示特定基因的eQTL模式在不同人群间的相似性与差异性。
