Data set for the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Energy Transition 2022 adopted by the Depute States on 4 October 2022. This is a plan-m.e.r. associated with the Revision Environmental Policy module Energy Transition adopted by Provinciale Staten on 14 December 2022.
The aim of this EIA is to provide insight into the environmental impacts of the integration of future development of wind and solar energy within the search areas of the Regional Energy Strategy (RES) 1.0 so that they can be weighted when defining the Energy Transition module.
The alternatives show how the objective can be implemented in different ways within the search areas. Alternative 2: RES 1.0-after decision-making shows the pass-through of the identification of search areas and search locations as provincial states has identified them as strategic exploration (wind search areas in the Green Heart have not been established, search area for wind A16 west side added).
