Interleukin-12 dissociates from Interleukin-12 receptor

Based on competition experiments with Iodine125-labeled Interleukin-12 (IL12) it was determined that IL12 can dissociate from the Interleukin-12 receptor. The association kinetics suggest mostly subsequent internalization of the IL12 (Chizzonite et al. 1992).
