DLR line parameter database for self-broadened H2O in the 700 – 2000 cm-1 region. New self-broadened H2O measurements and analysis were performed with the aim of determining the H2O self-continuum. Zenodo serves as a repository for the line parameter database. Measurements in the spectral range of 700 – 2000 cm⁻¹ were conducted using a Bruker 125HR Interferometer with an attached multi-reflection cell. The spectral resolution was 0.003 cm⁻¹. Measurements were corrected regarding the wavenumber axis (→ N2O reference lines [1]), detector non-linearity, thermal self-radiation, and the instrumental line profile function (→ LINEFIT [2]). For the preparation of the parameter database, measurements were analyzed using pure H₂O pressures between 0.003 – 20 mbar, path lengths between 14 – 161 m, and temperatures of 294.2 K and 353.2 K. The line profile function of a quadratic speed-dependent Voigt which was extended for Rosenkranz line mixing was used.
