Order value of new Shinkansen train carriages in Japan FY 2016-2022

In the fiscal year 2022, the value of new Shinkansen high-speed train carriages ordered in Japan amounted to around 15 billion Japanese yen, up from roughly 3.2 billion yen in the preceding fiscal year. The Japanese bullet train has been renowned worldwide for its reliability regarding speed, punctuality, and safety since its inauguration in 1964. Accordingly, Japanese manufacturers were able to export their technology to Taiwan, for example.
