Distribution and abundance of larval fishes in One Tree Island Lagoon, Capricorn Bunker Group, Great Barrier Reef

Light traps were attached to paired moorings at each of nine sites in One Tree Island lagoon. More than 1200 samples of fish and zooplankton were taken and fish identified to species level. Sampling was done monthly over two consecutive summers (1993/94 and 1994/95). Simultaneous measurements of tidal flushing were also made. Light traps were anchored at sites inside the One Tree Island lagoon to match the locations of benthic recruitment surveys, which were being conducted at the same time.

光诱捕器（light trap）被安装于独树岛（One Tree Island）潟湖内9个采样点位的成对系泊装置上。本次研究共采集鱼类与浮游动物样本1200余份，并完成了鱼类的物种水平鉴定。采样工作在1993/94与1994/95两个连续夏季内按月开展，同时同步进行了潮汐冲刷（tidal flushing）的相关测量。光诱捕器被锚定在独树岛潟湖内的点位，以匹配同期开展的底栖生物补充调查（benthic recruitment survey）的采样位置。
