To determine the methylation status of specific mRNAs in RCC cells with and without the one-carbon metabolism enzyme, MTHFD2. mRNA was isolated from 786-O cells with stable expression of shRNA targeting MTHFD2, and methylated immunoprecipitation was performed followed by sequencing. Hyper and hypomethylated mRNAs were analyzed to find relevant and novel oncogenes and tumor suppressors.
