This dataset accompanies the manuscript "Simplified Hourly Dispatch Modelling of SMR Integration in Greece's Energy Transition: A Scenario Comparison for 2030–2050 Based on Open-Source Data" submitted to Energy Policy. The workbook contains the complete supplementary material for a simplified 8,760-hour merit-order dispatch model that compares a High-RES expansion pathway against an SMR-integrated pathway for the Greek electricity system in 2030, 2040, and 2050. The model uses normalized 2023 hourly load and generation profiles from the ENTSO-E Transparency Platform, scaled to official Greek policy targets. Contents (11 sheets): README — Guide to the workbook structure. Data_Dictionary — Variable names, units, and descriptions for all sheets. assumptions — Model parameters (battery efficiency, unit costs, emissions coefficient). official_targets — Scenario inputs: demand, capacities, storage, gas/import caps, SMR deployment. annual_summary — Annual outputs for all 5 scenarios: generation mix, curtailment, CO2, cost proxy, LOLP, EENS. sensitivity — Sensitivity results for SMR pathways (FOAK cost, gas price, storage, import cap variations). 2030_BAU, 2040_HighRES, 2040_HighRES_SMR, 2050_HighRES, 2050_HighRES_SMR — Full 8,760-hour dispatch profiles with hourly load, VRE, hydro, SMR, battery charge/discharge, gas, imports, curtailment, unserved energy, and battery state of charge. All data are provided to support transparency and reproducibility. The dispatch logic and scenario architecture are described in Section 2 of the accompanying manuscript.
