: Evolução da Mortalidade por Câncer Colorretal nos Países dos BRICS de 1990 à 2019: Uma Análise de Idade-Período-Coorte

This ecological time series study analysed colorectal cancer (CRC) mortality trends in BRICS countries from 1990 to 2019, focusing on age, period and cohort effects using Global Burden of Disease data. Mortality increased in all five countries, particularly among older age groups and men born after 1960, with notable sex-specific and country-specific variations. The findings suggest that targeted control policies, such as those implemented in Russia, may help mitigate these rising trends.
