2013 London Town Centre Health Check Analysis Report

<p>This comprehensive database for town centres is the Technical Annex associated with the GLA publication: &ldquo;2013 Town Centre Health Check report&rsquo;.</p>
<p>The indicators for this database are categorised in the following sub-headings: &lsquo;scale and function&rsquo;, &lsquo;capacity&rsquo;, &lsquo;financial performance&rsquo;, &lsquo;accessibility&rsquo;, &lsquo;town centre initiatives&rsquo;, &lsquo;accidents and security&rsquo; and &lsquo;environment&rsquo;.</p>
<p>Further details of the health check indicators including data sources can be found in Annex 2 of the associated report.</p>
<p>The data is provided for 217 town centres identified in the London Plan (2011), coupled with some neighbourhood and more local centres.</p>
<p>The majority of the data are sourced from Experian GOAD but for some centres for which GOAD coverage was poor we used borough data. So care has to be used on both time series and comparisons between centres.</p>
