Images from Historic Building Recording Work at Green Lane Farm, Bollington, November 2022

This collection comprises images from historic building recording work at Green Lane Farm, Bollington, Cheshire. This work was undertaken by The Archaeology Co. in November 2022. An appropriate record has been made of the building to Historic England level 2 standards within the associated report. Floor plans were required and these have been produced using existing architects plans which were first checked for accuracy on site. The drawn record shows all features of interest that have been recorded photographically, as well as showing other features of historical significance that may not be directly affected by the proposal but which are necessary to put those features in context. The building was erected in the mid 18th century as a two-unit house which was later added to with the extension of a unit to the north. The lean-to was added in the mid to late 19th century and the building substantially altered in the 20th century.
