Molecular epidemiology and genetic determinants of beta-lactam resistance in Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolates from cystic fibrosis patients in Stockholm, Sweden

This project generated whole-genome sequencing data from Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolates collected from cystic fibrosis patients in Sweden. The aim was to investigate the molecular epidemiology and genomic determinants of antimicrobial resistance, including the presence of epidemic clones and chromosomal resistance mutations associated with beta-lactam and cefiderocol resistance. The data support studies of pathogen evolution, antimicrobial resistance, and infection control in cystic fibrosis-associated P. aeruginosa.
