This study will include priority foodborne pathogens and investigate different methods, based on NGS data, of analysing and clustering these for the purpose of improved surveillance.

Analytical workflows based on NGS data for foodborne pathogen surveillance, outbreak detection, and epidemiological analysis will be developed during this study. General methods will be developed for sequence based surveillance, methods for support of outbreak investigations and finally epidemiological analysis including source attribution studies.
