Georeferenced Occurrences and Environmental Data for Atheris spp. (Viperidae) Across Sub-Saharan Africa

This dataset provides georeferenced occurrence records for Atheris spp. (Viperidae) across Sub-Saharan Africa, compiled from research-grade observations on iNaturalist. Each record includes observation ID, full coordinates in decimal degrees (WGS84), observer comments, and environmental variables including biome, habitat type, climate classification, forest cover, and canopy coverage.
