1L water samples were filtered with the Whatman GF/F filter. The phytoplankton cells on the filters were extracted with 90% acetone for 24h, then the extracting liquid was determined with Turner Designs Fluorometer, Model 10. The chlorophyll a concentrations were analyzed with the fluorescence method (Parsons et al., 1984).
