Flood drain areas are those areas that are flooded with different sized floods.
The NÖ Water Information System (WIS NÖ) shows the outflow ranges of a 30-, 100- and 300-yearly flood. This means that the respective flood drain occurs every 30, 100 or 300 years on average.
HW300ETC refers to the 300-yearly flood surface depicted (a 200-yearly event was used at the Kamp — hence “ETC”).
