We acutely depleted the BCL11A protein by using the dTAG PROTAC technology, and assessed its immediate consequences on DNA methylation at the HBG1/2 promoter region. Overall design: Examination of changes in HBG1/2 promoter DNA methylation that occur imminently upon depletion of the repressive transcription factor BCL11A in two clones.
