Aquifer Yield and Hydraulic Conductivity

These polygons provide information regarding the size, shape, and yield of primary and secondary aquifers throughout Ohio. Available groundwater data including water wells, pumping tests, slug tests, groundwater flow models, and published literature were used to assign standardized yield and hydraulic conductivity ranges for every aquifer in the state. Yield is mapped according to nine distinct ranges which span from 0-3 to 1000+ gallons per minute. Hydraulic conductivity is mapped according to nine distinct ranges which span from 0 to 500+ feet per day. Data Update Frequency: As Needed.
