Myus (Turkey), temple areaFrom the division of finds 1909; marble, around 530 BC The headless young man is wearing a short-sleeved, long chiton and a cloak pinned over his left shoulder. On his back one can see the rest of his hair falling widely in pearl strings. Male robed statues were particularly found in Ionia. Their movement motif corresponds with the Kouroi. This object is part of Scan The World. Scan the World is a non-profit initiative introduced by MyMiniFactory, through which we are creating a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks and landmarks from across the globe for the public to access for free.
