Experiments were performed along a gradient in a high elevation stand in Mountana, USA. Resin duct and increment core measurements from Pinus contorta and Pinus albicaulis. Phenolic, terpenoid, carbohydrate pools, and elemental makeup of phloem is also included. Data include resin ducts collected over time, and phloem chemistry that was constitutive and induced locally by simulated bark beetle attack.

本实验在美国蒙大拿州一处高海拔林分的梯度样带上开展。研究获取了扭叶松(Pinus contorta)和白皮松(Pinus albicaulis)的树脂道与生长钻芯(increment core)测量数据。同时包含韧皮部(phloem)的酚类、萜类、碳水化合物库组成以及元素组成信息。数据集涵盖随时间序列采集的树脂道数据,以及经模拟树皮甲虫侵染诱导产生的韧皮部组成型与诱导型化学特征。
