This dataset is the explanatory documentation for the stem analysis growth data of China's major tree species, sourced from the China National Stem Analysis Tables of Tree Growth. It records the following attributes for each sampled tree: clear bole height, slope aspect, elevation, slope gradient, soil type, rock cover, habitat type, sample ID, tree species, sampling location, stand age, tree height, diameter at breast height (DBH), and crown diameter. The dataset includes stem analysis data for species such as white birch (Betula platyphylla), lacebark pine (Pinus bungeana), and oriental arborvitae (Platycladus orientalis), among others.
