QY7's impact on gut microbiome

here, we choose the GK rat as the type 2 diabetes model to study the anti-diabetic effect of QY7. This animal experiment included three groups: the control group, which consisted of normal Wistar rats, and two T2D model groups using GK rats. Wistar rats were commonly used as controls for GK rats. The GK rats in the diabetes model group did not receive any treatment, while rats in the treatment group received QY7 at a dose of 6g/kg till the end of the experiment, which lasted 16 weeks from the beginning. Each group contained six rats. and fecal samples collected at three different sites (small intestine, cecum, and colorectum) were under 16S sequencing.
