Datasets and modeling software as part of our study titled "Climate impact comparison of electric and gas-powered end-user appliances"

With this repository, we provide all measurement data and software scripts used for our study entitled "Climate impact comparison of electric and gas-powered end-user appliances". The measurement data consist of CH4 measurements made with a LI-7810 CH4/CO2/H2O mobile trace gas analyzer, ethane-to-methane ratios determined with a Quantum Cascade Laser (QCL) absorption spectrometer model QCL-TILDAS-76 from Aerodyne Research Inc, and gas isotopic composition determined with an isotope ratio mass spectrometer (IRMS) model Delta V Plus/Deltaplus XL from Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. In addition, statistical data for Oktoberfest between 1990 and 2019 are provided. The software codes provided in the repository are used to model CH4 emissions from Oktoberfest and analyze the data, including the generation of all graphs shown in the associated manuscript.
