资源简介:
The research objectives are to, among men in mobile occupational groups: 1) Examine trends in condom use; 2) Monitor changes in consistent condom use with female sex workers (FSW) and regular non-marital partners, HIV transmission and infection knowledge, condom self-efficacy, condom beliefs, and risk perception (logical framework donor indicators); 3) Track changes in opportunity, ability, and motivation (OAM) factors; 4) Determine predictors of consistent condom use with female sex workers (FSWs), and; 5) Determine whether an association exists between exposure to PSI/Myanmar's interventions and significant changes in men's behaviours and OAM factors. PSI/Myanmar interventions evaluated in this study included those delivered through two communication channels: condom demonstration sessions and HIV prevention cartoon books. Exposure to PSI/Myanmar interventions was divided into three categories: none, low, and high exposure. Study participants in the high exposure group must have attended a condom demonstration session and may or may not have read at least one HIV prevention cartoon book, while those in the low exposure category must have read at least one HIV prevention cartoon book.
