资源简介:
Mastitis is the most common disease of dairy cows. Mastitis is a mammary gland inflammatory disease often caused due to bacterial infections. The most commonly antibiotics are used for the treatment of mastitis. But major disadvantage of antibioitics is that, it will affect the quality of milk. Since Ethno-veterinary and herbal practices have been in use for centuries, there is no scientific validation for the effectiveness of these treatments. The aim of this study was to analyze bacterial profiles of bovine mastitic milk samples and samples from healthy quarters using Next Generation Sequencing of amplicons from 16S rRNA genes in order to find the effectiveness of Ethno-Veterinary Practice (EVP).
