The Tagalog Word Frequency Corpus is a collection of common Tagalog words compiled from three publicly available sources: Sketch Engine, Wortschatz Leipzig, and the Official Tagalog.com 2K Deck. The three word-lists were combined into a single dataset, with duplicate entries removed and multiword expressions split into individual words where appropriate. Different spellings and common contractions were kept as separate entries if they appeared separately in the original source lists. The final corpus contains 3,469 unique Tagalog words. The workbook includes the original source datasets, preprocessing documentation, a data dictionary, corpus summary statistics, and workflow documentation to facilitate transparency and reuse.
