Psychometric Properties of the Bangla Version of the Job Stress Scale (JSS)

The job stress level was assessed using the 13-item Parker and DeCotiis (1983) scale. The two components of job stress that were utilized to measure “job-related feelings of anxiety” (5 items) and “feelings of being under substantial time pressure” (8 items), which were used to quantify job anxiety. This scale had no negative items. Participants typically rate each item on a scale ranging from 1 (strongly disagree) to 5 (strongly agree). Higher scores correspond to greater degrees of job stress.本研究采用帕克与德科蒂乌斯（Parker and DeCotiis）1983年编制的13条目工作压力量表对工作压力水平进行评估。该量表包含两个工作压力维度：其一为5条目维度「与工作相关的焦虑情绪」，其二为8条目维度「显著时间压力感受」，二者共同用于量化工作焦虑程度。该量表未包含反向计分条目。参与者需按照1（完全不同意）至5（完全同意）的计分等级对每个条目进行评分，得分越高则代表工作压力程度越高。
