Gene expression analysis in Ewing sarcoma upon treatment with fimepinostat. Fimepinostat treatment in Ewing sarcoma

The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of fimepinostat on gene expression in Ewing sarcoma with a focus on EWS-FLI1 target genes expression. We previously showed that fimepinostat destabilizes EWS-FLI1 oncoprotein stability and RNAseq data demonstrated that the drug treatment did not significantly affect EWS-FLI1 mRNA expression but induced differential expression of one third of EWS-FLI1 target genes, via reduction of its protein levels.
