Data underlying the publication "An illusion of tactile slipperiness caused by the radial stretch of the fingertip skin"

The dataset contains the processed supporting data for the publication entitled "An illusion of tactile slipperiness caused by the radial stretch of the fingertip skin" submitted in eLife. The paper demonstrates that controlled radial expansion of the fingerpad skin causally induces slipperiness sensations in the absence of actual slip, while leaving grip force responses unaffected.The raw data include images of the participants' fingerprints, which are sensitive, so they will be available only upon request.
