Transcriptome sequencing of the midgut of adult Anoplophora glabripennis feeding on three different hosts

Anoplophora glabripennis (Motschulsky) is notorious for its wide host range, serious dam-age caused, and the difficulties involved in controlling it. This study performed transcriptome sequencing on the midgut of adult beetles fed on three different hosts to compare and analyze differentially expressed genes in different treatment groups and explore the effects of different hosts on this beetle. Furthermore, the transcriptome data will lay the foundation for further research on RNA interference and pest control.
