Dataset for the Development and Validation of the Artificial Intelligence Addiction Scale (AIAS)

This dataset contains survey data used for the development and validation of the Artificial Intelligence Addiction Scale. The study aims to measure the pathological dependence and addictive behavior of users during their interaction with generative AI, such as AI companions and large language models. The dataset contains two independent sample datasets: Scale Development and Exploratory Dataset (EFA Sample): Used for project analysis and exploratory factor analysis, removing low-quality questions and extracting the initial structure of the scale. Scale validation and mechanism testing dataset (CFA sample): used for confirmatory factor analysis to confirm the stability of the scale structure and test the mediating mechanism between core variables. Data Usage: This dataset supports the reproduction of various statistical analysis results (including EFA, CFA, reliability testing) from the original paper.
