In 2014, the fault data was updated and attributed by the WSGS. The faults were digitized in 1994 from the original scribe sheets that were used to prepare the published 1:500,000-scale Geologic Map of Wyoming (Love and Christiansen, 1985). Fault types: Fault—displacement unknown; dotted where concealed. Normal fault—dotted where concealed; ball and bar on downthrown block. Thrust fault-dotted where concealed; sawteeth on upper (tectonically higher) plate Base of Shannon Sandstone-brown contact line in Powder River Basin Non-printing contact-red contact lines
