VPRS 9884 Minutes of Meetings

This series comprises minutes of meetings of the State Development Committee created during the period 1943 to 1982.The Committee was constituted under the provisions of State Development Act 1941 (No. 4875). The Committee carried out investigations and reported to the Governor-in-Council on housing, land settlement, water conservation, re-afforestation, hospitals, and post-war plans.Under section 13 of the State Development Act and the regulations issued under the Act, the Committee was required to keep full minutes of the meetings.This series documents the activities of the Committee.
