Dataset of Laboratory experiments on tsunamigenic discrete subaqueous volcanic eruptions. Part 1: Free surface disturbances

This dataset contains all the data used to plot figures 5 and 6 in the manuscript 2020JC016588 "Laboratory experiments on tsunamigenic discrete subaqueous volcanic eruptions. Part 1: Free surface disturbances" by Yaxiong Shen, Colin Whittaker, Emily Lane, James White, William Power, Paraskevi Nomikou submitted to JGR Oceans. The first folder "fountainplumeboundaryfig6" contains data for figure 6. The second folder "jetplumeboundaryfig5" contains data for the fig5. Two Matlab scripts fountainplumeboundary.m and jetplumeboudary.m are used to visualise them respectively.本数据集包含投稿于《地球物理研究杂志：海洋》（JGR Oceans）的编号为2020JC016588的论文《引发海啸的水下离散火山喷发实验室实验 第一部分：自由面扰动》的全部实验数据，该论文作者为Yaxiong Shen、Colin Whittaker、Emily Lane、James White、William Power、Paraskevi Nomikou。首个文件夹"fountainplumeboundaryfig6"存储对应图6的实验数据；第二个文件夹"jetplumeboundaryfig5"则存储对应图5的实验数据。另有两个Matlab (矩阵实验室) 脚本分别用于可视化上述数据集，分别为fountainplumeboundary.m与jetplumeboudary.m。
