Molecular Mechanisms of Pinus sylvestris Responding to Shoot Blight

The uniform Pinus sylvestris seedlings at two-month-old were divided into treatment (LT) and control (LC) group, with each group containing five biological repeats from 15 seedlings. All seedlings were subjected to wounding using a needle puncture method. The treatment group was inoculated with Sphaeropsis sapinea. The plant samples were collected when the disease was spread at the base of seedling shoots, and flash-frozen in liquid nitrogen. Three biological replicates were prepared for transcriptomics analysis
