The EUROFOREST Portal contains 296 records of forest resources. The information resources have been classified according to their type: country data, data sets and databases, images and moving images, maps, statistics, reports, and species data. The Portal’s data sets and metadata are catalogued by subject area (topic) and or geographic area. Topics include: forest resources; forest policy and legislation; forest ecology and ecosystems; climate and CO2; forest management and planning; forest protection; research; education; forest products; marketing and trade; information sources; and miscellaneous. Each Portal entry has metadata and a link to the host institution where the data can be downloaded.
