SOCIAL CONSCIOUSNESS — CRITICAL REALISM IN THE PROSE OF MARK TWAIN AND ABDULLA QAHHOR

This article analyzes critical realism and the means of social humor in the works of the prominent representative of nineteenth-century American literature Mark Twain and the distinguished figure of twentieth-century Uzbek literature Abdulla Qahhor. It demonstrates how social problems, the shortcomings of human nature, and social injustices are exposed through humor and irony in their works.本文针对19世纪美国文学杰出代表马克·吐温与20世纪乌兹别克文学代表人物阿卜杜拉·卡霍的作品，剖析其中的批判现实主义（Critical Realism）与社会幽默的创作手法，并阐释二人如何通过幽默与讽刺揭露社会问题、人性弱点以及社会不公。
